Our story begins...
Our sculptor Rachel Mabin had her heart set on giving some abandoned guinea pigs, from a local rescue, their forever home.
She visited Wheek and Squeak Guinea Pig Rescue and Boarding in Bishops Waltham to adopt three amazing piggies. However, she felt sad she couldn't take ALL the wonderful, little characters home with her. There were over one hundred guinea pigs in the rescue, some in retirement but most waiting for their forever home!
